  • Why shouldn't our maintenance staff handle weed control?

    Per state regulations, weed control requires specialed training, licensing, and proper equipment-especially when herbicides are involved. Most maintenance teams aren’t certified to apply chemicals safely or effectively, which can lead to poor results, safety risks, even fines.

  • When is the best time of year for weed control?

    Southwest regional weeds grow year-round, but the most effective time for treatment-especially pre-emergents-is late fall through early spring. We offer year-round services to prevent and control growth at all stages.

  • Do you remove dead vegetation or just spray?

    Yes. In additional to herbicide applications, we offer mechanical removal, mowing, clearing, and cleanup for fire-code compliance or property maintenance needs.

  • Can you help me meet city or county weed abatement compliance notices?

    Absolutely. We regularly help property owners bring their land into compliance and provide documentation for fire department and municipal inspections.

  • Where does the specify restrictions on applying herbicides?

    California Department of Pesticide Regulations prohibits the use of any herbicides without proper licensing. Additionally, there are strict regulations to how herbicides are to be transported and handled.

    There are few exemptions, such as, a person applying herbicides to their own home, a gardener applying herbicides to a newly installed decorative plant base.
